Born out of a passion for thoughtful food and great coffee, Eathos Dublin started in 2015 on Lower Baggot Street, Dublin with a contemporary approach to food and venue. In 2024, we were tasked with delivering a new website that felt like an extension of their cafes, communicating their passion for provenance, showcasing their offering and enhancing their business growth through Eathos Catering.

Research ✎

Eathos needed more than a visual refresh. Their website wasn’t clearly supporting customer decisions or business priorities, particularly around catering.

Research focused on how people actually use hospitality websites and where clarity breaks down. By analysing competitors and user behaviour, we identified which content mattered most and where the experience needed to work harder. This gave us a clear direction before any design decisions were made.

Ideation ⌲

Ideation was about removing friction.

We explored structure and hierarchy around real user intent. Finding menus, building confidence, and making enquiries. Wireframes were used to test these journeys early, ensuring the experience supported action rather than getting in the way.

The result was a clear, purposeful foundation for design.

Visual Language ✎

The website’s design is a direct extension of the Eathos brand. This is clean, modern, and inviting. The visual language was designed to support usability first. The focus was on translating that into a calm, confident digital experience that made information easy to scan and decisions easy to make. Every visual element earned its place.

Design⌁Prototype⌁Build

A high fidelity prototype allowed Eathos to experience a great level of interaction and really get a sense of how the final developed site would feel. Prototyping refined flow and prioritisation before build. The site was then developed in WordPress to give the Eathos team full control over content and updates.

Since launch, engagement with key areas has increased and catering enquiries have grown. The website now functions as a practical business tool, not just a brand statement.

Solution ✌︎

The redesigned website now supports how customers actually engage with Eathos, leading to increased interaction and growth in catering enquiries. The success of the project led to continued collaboration, including the redesign of another website in their business portfolio, With Taste.
