Born out of a passion for thoughtful food and great coffee, Eathos Dublin started in 2015 on Lower Baggot Street, Dublin with a contemporary approach to food and venue. In 2024, we were tasked with delivering a new website that felt like an extension of their cafes, communicating their passion for provenance, showcasing their offering and enhancing their business growth through Eathos Catering.
Research ✎
To ensure the website truly reflected the essence of Eathos, extensive research was conducted, including competitor analysis and customer behavior insights. These findings guided the design process, ensuring an intuitive and elegant interface that mirrors the café’s ambiance while delivering an outstanding user experience.
Ideation ⌲
Based on our aims, research and analysis and goal to keep our deliverables user centric, we began to build out our information hierarchy. This initially centred around the navigational structure of the site. The next step, sketching out wireframes, and finally, forming a sitemap. We regularly spoke with the Eathos team to align on these musings before tackling the design and prototyping phase.

Visual Language ✎
The website’s design is a direct extension of the Eathos brand—clean, modern, and inviting. The digital space was crafted to be as warm and welcoming as the café itself, featuring high-quality imagery and a seamless navigation structure. This visually cohesive experience allows customers to engage with Eathos in a meaningful way, whether they’re exploring the menu or placing a catering inquiry.
Design⌁Prototype⌁Build
A high fidelity prototype built on Adobe XD allowed Eathos to experience a great level of interaction and really get a sense of how the final developed site would feel. During this phase we uncovered a change of prominence within the hierarchy of information that led to swapping navigation items and homepage content order.
Built on WordPress, the new site gives the Eathos team full control over content updates, ensuring flexibility as their business evolves. Whether adding seasonal menu offerings or showcasing new patisserie creations, the website is a dynamic tool that keeps customers informed and engaged.

Solution ✌︎
The launch of the new website has significantly enhanced Eathos’s online presence, allowing them to connect with both loyal patrons and new visitors effortlessly. The improved user experience has led to increased customer inquiries, particularly for catering services, contributing to business growth. Feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive, solidifying the website as a key asset in Eathos’s digital strategy.
